Rhubarb Festival:

Come and enjoy a variety of homemade rhubarb deserts at the Historic Elmwood House.                                Historic Elmwood is a beautiful turn of the century Victorian Home that is on the National Registry of Historic Places.  The Rhubarb festival is an annual fundraiser to preserve the history and integrity of the site.

RibFest

Come to the Centennial Center for the RibFest cook-off, Friday afternoon.  Participating contestants from around the area will be competing for the title of Ribmaster 2012.  Enjoy the delicious ribs, side items and entertainment of the Texaco Country Showdown Singing Competition sponsored by KXPO radio. Singing contestants will perform on stage in the RibFest area for everyone to enjoy.  Also, a variety of kids games will be conducted by the group Community Helpers.

No coolers are allowed at the RibFest

Parade Information:

The annual SummerFest parade is scheduled to take place in Grafton on Saturday, June 23rd, 2012.

 Parade entrants may begin to assemble at the parking lot on the east side of the State Developmental Center     (701 West 6th Street) at 9:00 AM. The parade is scheduled to start at 10:00 AM.    The parade route will be from 5th street to Hill Ave., turning South on Hill Ave. and disbursing at 11th Street.                                                   We hope to see you there!

Note:  Due to insurance liability as well as the concern for safety to our parade audience, the throwing of candy from a moving vehicle is prohibited.  However, you may walk along the parade route close to the crowd and disperse candy if you so choose. 

Park Activities:

The Grande Parade starts at 10:00 a.m. followed by Leistikow park activities from 11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m..  Actives consist of car show, antique snowmobile show, food vendors, live music, free inflatable games for kids, and much more.

ATV Mud Run:

The ATV Mud Run is located is at the Green Belt Area just North of Grafton

FestRun & Youth Run:

 FestRun 5k Course for Run & Walk:

The Start and Finish lines will be at Leistikow Park, near the Grafton Swimming Pool.  A map of the course will be available at the registration table on the day of the race.

 The first 100 participants to register will be given a free race t-shirt.

 5k Race Awards for Run Only: Medals will be awarded to the top finisher in each age category.

 Youth Run

The entire run, start & finish,  will be in Leistikow Park.  Registration will take place by the boat launch.

 Categories & Race Start Times (approx):

· Ages 6& under - 1/8 mile - 11:40 a.m.

· Ages 7, 8 & 9 -1/4 mile -  11:45 a.m.

· Ages 10, 11 & 12 - 1/2 mile -  11:55 a.m.

Registration Fees: Cost - $12 per runner.

Includes pre-registration, bib number,      finisher’s medal & t-shirt.

3rd or 4th sibling in a family is $7 each.

Burn Out Contest

The Burn Out Contest begins at 2:00 p.m. Sunday June 26th on the South End of School Road.

$5 to Enter Contest.

Registration will be taken before contest only.
